Payments and Financial Questions

Payment Deadlines

Please make all tuition payments by the 5th of each month to avoid the $25 late fee. If the 5th happens to land on a weekend, you have until the next Tuesday to make a payment.

Extended Hours

Extended hours are calculated after the office has received all of the sign in/out sheets from the month. With calculation and billing time, this means that the Extended hours invoices will be sent out at the beginning of the month (For example, Extended Hours billed for May 8th, will be sent out on June 4th).

Extended Hours invoices are sent out before the 5th so families can include the amount in their tuition payment if they choose to do so. There are no late payment fees on Extended Hour invoices. Families are welcome to pay the Extended Hours invoice with the next months tuition.

Payment Options

We accept check, cashier checks, money orders, cash and credit card. Credit Card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.

Credit cards can be set up as an automatic payment. Some banks also provide an auto-mailed check service. You may check with your bank to see if they will automatically send out a tuition payment to our address as a form of auto-pay.

Pick-Up and Drop-off

Drop off Time

Please work towards having your child present and ready for class by 9:30 am, as this is when our morning Montessori Circle begins. Parents/Guardians are welcome to drop off and pick up within the classrooms.

Please call Administration, in advance, if your child has a pre-scheduled event that takes them away from their normal schedule. This will allow our teachers to plan accordingly.

Sign In/Out Attendance Sheets

Please always sign your child in and out. These sign-in logs are not only required by the state, but they are the records that let us calculate the correct Extended Hours. Leaving a line blank means that a teacher is required to fill in a time to the best of their knowledge, and sometimes results in another parent accidentally filling in the wrong line.

Child Pick Up

A child is only allowed to be picked up by an authorized individual. This individual must either be their parent or guardian, or on the Emergency Contact Card. If you will need someone other than the people mentioned, please send the office an email with your written authorization for another party to pick up your child. You must list their full name. This new individual will then have to show their ID to our teachers before they are able to pick up your child.

Illness

When a child becomes ill at school, you may receive a call for them to be picked up for the following reasons:

Covid-19

Runny nose with green mucus

Vomiting or Diarrhea

Fever

Continuous cough or other disruptive symptoms

Pink Eye symptoms

Lice

Unexplained rashes

If your child has any of these symptoms, please keep them home until they are well. A child must have not had a fever for at least 24 hours before they can return to school.

If a symptom is continuing but not contagious or significantly affecting the child, we must receive a doctor’s note approving a child’s return to school. (For example, a minor rash from allergies).
